Something that often delights our customer is how stable Vivomer applications are. We design our products to be compatible with a wide variety of formulations including volatile compounds, water based, and oil based solutions. Bottly has passed across a wide compatibility test suite including a number of formulations as seen by some of our partners such as Amarey and Wild.
Bottly is made from Vivomer X, which is a material made in the cell of microbes. We extract this material and formulate it into materials that can then work in with standard blow moulding machinery.
Vivomer is completely stable in use, no matter how long you keep the product. When your product reaches its end of use, you can throw it into your home compost or general waste. It will then biodegrade without leaving any harmful toxins or micro-plastics behind. Bottly will degrade fully in a healthy home compost within 6 months.
At Shellworks we believe that sustainability shouldn’t mean compromise. We have developed and vetted a pallet of over 200 colours to enable you to have your brand shine. Products can be decorated using screen printing with any Pantone ink reference . All our pigments and dyes are vetted to ensure they won’t cause any harm when you dispose of the product.
